Basel Switzerland Christmas Market 2024. The basel christmas market on barfüsserplatz and münsterplatz is considered to be one of the prettiest and largest in switzerland. The christmas market is open daily from 28 november to 23 december 2024 from 11.00 am to 8.30 pm.
Apart from 23 december 2023, when the market on münsterplatz will close at 6pm, and the market on barfüsserplatz will close at 8pm. It has been named “best christmas market 2021” in an online vote on the travel website “european best destinations”.
